Able Child Africa has put forward a case on why investment in disability inclusion for children with disabilities provides good value for money. This publication outlines how and why investing in children with disabilities is not only a moral and professional imperative, but it also makes economic sense.
Evidence presented in this paper demonstrates that for donors, governments and INGOs to spend Official Development Assistance (ODA) budgets efficiently and effectively, children with disabilities must be considered. The various ways in which the inclusion of children generates economic growth means investing in children with disabilities is worth every penny.
